General Race Info
- Racers displaying poor sportsmanship or disobeying the rules of
the road WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!
- Water stations are located at the exchanges and the turnaround
on the run course.
- Clearly mark all equipment. The Yakima Greenway Foundation will
not be responsible for lost / damaged equipment.
- For the safety of the racers, we request that non-participants
remain off the course during the race.
- Course changes may be made for both races. Changes will be clearly
explained at the mandatory pre-race meeting.
- Racers must stay on the designated course. If you leave the course,
you must re-enter from the place you left.
- No on-course assistance for participants allowed. Malfunctioning
equipment must be pushed or carried.

Registration Instructions
- A minimum of three teams are required for each category. If a category
does not fill, team captains will be contacted and teams will be
reassigned to the most appropriate category. Likewise, additional
categories will be considered if requested, and registration guaranteed,
by at least three teams.
- No one under age 15 will be allowed to compete in the Adult Gap2Gap
Relay, except by competing on a family team registered in the Open
Category of either Division

- Fill out the registration form with team or Iron name as you would
like it to appear in the media, and fill in the name of the team
captain or Iron person.
- Team captain must be a participating member of the team.
- Teams will be made up of 2 - 5 people.
- Fill out the roster completely. Iron participants
fill in the top section only. Teams fill in a name for each race
leg, even if one member is completing more than one leg.
- All registrations must include entry fee and have a waiver signed
by each participant or participant's parent / guardian for racers
under 18. No refunds for no-shows. Entry fees are not tax deductible.
- Registrations that are postmarked after
May 21 cannot be guaranteed participant T-shirts on race day or
sequential race number within their division. We will accept registrations
up to 1/2 hour before the race.
- Once your team has registered, the captain will receive a confirmation
packet containing detailed route maps, when and where to pick up
race numbers and T-shirts, and other important information.
